Amazon prices - constantly changing
Wednesday, October 25th, 2006 The way that Amazon prices its goods is very unusual. I have had some goods in my basket for weeks and everytime I go to Amazon I am told that the price of these goods has changed. I used to just blink at this and think nothing of it, prices do change after all. But I have realised that every time I even refresh the page the prices change. What is this?! Something costs £10. Refresh the page, it has increased to £12. refresh the page, it is back to £10. This is not the way to run a serious business is it? What is going on? Has anyone else had this experience? This is the CD that has done it most:

Is it the same for other people? I would liek to know your experiences. It is like being in a sweet shop and asking the assistant how much is that chocolate.
‘£1′
‘I’ll buy it thank you.’
As she types in the price in the till: ‘I’m sorry the p[rice has gone up to £1.50′
‘Oh, hang on.’
‘Actually the price has gone back down to £1.’
‘Excellent.’
You are about to hand over the money: ‘Oh, the price has gone back up to £1.50′
This is crazy!
Your comments please.
