Blase with plugins and almost lost the lot
Be careful with your plugins and blogging. We just added another to do something unecessary and the whole blog broke. No problem, I said, just deactivate and it will be back to normal.
Which it was sort of , but also sort of not. Cue lots of nervous googling,
but we’re back!
moral – don’t fiddle with a blog that’s working fine

New Ashes T shirt to alleviate the pain of defeat in the cricket:

OK, so Australia won the Ashes back. Rather too easily. But look on the bright side, they’ve only got them until 2009. Then we will win them back again!

The popularity of artistx cartoons has led to this – we have put together a free plugin for wordpress that will automatically show the latest artistx cartoon on your site!
Brilliant I hear you say, how do I do it?
1. Download this file and put it in your where-your-wordpress-is/wp-content/plugins folder.
2. Log into your wordpress blog and click on PLUGINS
3. Click on ACTIVATE by the artistx cartoon plugin
4. Go to OPTIONS then CARTOONS and copy the small line of code.
5. Paste the code in the sidebar where you want the cartoon.
That’s it!
This plugin is used without warranty and at your own risk.

How did that ever go without a major mishap? When we started the service we hadn’t got all the carols on the powerpoint computer – and some of the choruses were wrong -Â so we were showing the first ones and then during the readings typing in the carols that were left to do. Luckily we were always a couple of carols ahead, but it was a bit stressful. Especially as the people doing it were also reading and playing at various moments.
No one seemed to notice the frantic activity though – or if they did they were too polite to say.
