Ashes: England are so bad they must be bluffing

England must be bluffing, that is all there is to it. They must be trying to lull the Aussies into thinking they have the series sewn up, at which point they will stop concentrating and England will win the Test match. I believe W G Grace used the same tactics in 1891. Only trouble is we lost that Ashes series. (Although it wasn’t an Ashes series then, because that was the series that led to the bails being burned and the Ashes created in the first place - ed)
