Lilly Allen – pop poet?
What do you all think of this album? Alright Still.
She’s definitely got something lyrically, over a soft-pop background. Music is the only way for poets to reach a large audience nowadays. Nothing particularly wrong with that, just a fact. Hence the new band here! You will hear more in due course! Quite a lot more!

Cigar box guitars!
A guy working on the road the other day asked me what sort of guitar I had (he didn’t have amazing insight into my life, I was carrying a guitar case). I told him it was a Peavey bass, but I wish I’d been able to say it was a cigar box guitar! This babies are amazing and hand made! check them out here .

Ian Drury and the Blockheads
What do you think? I’ve just got the Reasons to be Cheerful Best of double CD. Full of whimsical, languid songs that go on and on. I’m enjoying it.
Great baubling lyrics, it’s like a collection of short stories set to music.
