It’s 1.30 am and I’m still trying to fix the blog posting so that we can send in posts and photos from mobile phones. Will any one be grateful? Will I actually get it to work? Am I seeing straight?

It accepts emailed posts from the PC. But not from the phone. The emails are definitely leaving the phone. Next - see if they are ending up in the mail account. Watch this boring space…

OK - PC emails reach the mail server. Mobile ones don’t. But they do reach other addresses, eg hotmail. So emails are leaving the phone and reaching some destinations and not others.

Hmmm.

Almost 2.00am . Can I go to bed without solving this? But where is the logic. Computers are supposed to be Greeks, logic, logic, logic.

Just before go to bed, tried sending to another pop maikl box. This is received. Could it be just that the email address is too long? one more try before bed…

is it that?  Sending email from phone… orange seems to take a long time to send short (two letter!) emails at the moment.
